Having gone to many weddings in the past, and with my own coming up, I know firsthand how difficult and stressful buying a wedding gift can be. But don’t freak out, I’m going to share a few tips on how to pick the perfect gift, and then a few ideas to take home with you.

1. Check if they have a registry! If so, that will make your life infinitely easier.

2. Cover the bases. Most couples want things that they can cherish but that are also functional. So, never overlook lush white towels and elegant white crockery.

3. Make it a group effort. Get a few people to chip in to get the couple a more pricey gift. It’ll go a long way.

4. NO home decor. At the end of the day, you don’t know how their taste will develop as a couple. Unless they tell you explicitly what they want, skip the home decor section.
